Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials and products within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, or shortages.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation, including picking lists and packing slips.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Operate scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory status.
- Assist in organizing stockrooms and maintaining a clean, clutter-free workspace.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification (Class A or B) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with handheld scanners.
