Responsibilities
- Fleet Management: Safely load, unload, and move freight, materials, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Verify and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and orderly to optimize workflow and retrieval efficiency.
- Documentation: Complete necessary shipping and receiving documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics team to ensure seamless operations and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations or material handling is preferred but not required for motivated candidates.
- Certification: Possession of a valid Forklift Operator Certification is a strong plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using handheld RF scanners.
- Attitude: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
