In this role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are stored, tracked, and shipped efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Load, unload, and stage materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to ensure smooth warehouse flow.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing stock by checking labels and performing physical counts.
- Documentation: Accurately complete shipping and receiving paperwork, including packing slips and bills of lading.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Assist team members with tasks during peak hours to ensure on-time delivery targets are met.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Licensure: Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a major plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if required.
