Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and stock checks.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) safely and in compliance with all OSHA regulations.
- Package and prepare shipments for distribution, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the receiving and processing of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Report any damaged goods, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld RF scanners.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
