As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and accurately. We value safety, reliability, and a proactive attitude in our workforce.
Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Accurately select, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders and safety guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Reporting: Assist in reporting discrepancies or damages immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; we offer training.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
