Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to ensure accurate inventory placement.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and documentation.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, discrepancies, and quality issues, reporting findings immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment (forklifts, conveyors).
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage customer orders according to shipping schedules and carrier requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently; comfortable working in varying temperature environments.
- License: Valid Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency (WMS experience is a plus).
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
