As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to and from shipping/delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment.
- Operate scanning equipment (RF guns) to track shipments and inventory status.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and resolve logistical bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a major plus.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
