Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, coordinating receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Ensure all equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) is safely operated and maintained
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain 99.8% accuracy
- Train staff on OSHA compliance and warehouse procedures
- Optimize layout and processes to reduce handling time by 15%
- Prepare daily/weekly performance reports and KPI dashboards
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in distribution centers
- Certified Forklift Operator and OSHA 30-hour certification
- Expertise in WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Proven ability to lead unionized/non-union teams
- Strong analytical skills with inventory accuracy expertise
- Valid Class B CDL (Hazmat endorsement a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
