Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move goods throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stage incoming shipments. Pick, pack, and label orders accurately for shipment.
- Stock Organization: Maintain accurate inventory records by organizing stockrooms and ensuring products are stored according to safety guidelines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Quality Control: Perform routine checks on products to ensure they meet quality standards before being shipped to customers.
- Reporting: Document inventory discrepancies and report damaged goods to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse or logistics is a plus but not required; we provide training.
- Licensure: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is highly desirable.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
