Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments; perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Data Entry: Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to log transactions and update inventory records.
- Quality Assurance: Identify damaged or incorrect goods and report them immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read and follow safety instructions.
- Licensure: Forklift certification (preferred but willing to train the right candidate).
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including overtime if needed.
