Responsibilities
- Material Movement: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels using RF scanners and inventory management software.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare, package, and label products according to customer specifications and shipping standards.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, ensuring all A-ways are clear and safety protocols are followed.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy, reporting discrepancies immediately to management.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with barcode scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Certifications: Forklift certification (OSHA) is highly desirable but not mandatory.
