Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments using TMS software to maintain real-time tracking accuracy
- Liaise with carriers to negotiate rates, resolve delays, and ensure on-time deliveries
- Prepare customs documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices) for international shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading/unloading procedures and reduce transit times
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Manage customer inquiries regarding shipment status and delivery exceptions
- Maintain compliance with DOT, FDA, and international trade regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination with TMS proficiency
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, LTL/FTL shipping, and customs clearance processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to resolve carrier disputes
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Relevant certification (CSCP, CLTD) or degree in Supply Chain preferred
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
