Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Load, unload, and move materials between dock and warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specific requirements and packing standards.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging, scanning, and organizing stock areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure functionality.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a major plus but willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a climate-controlled environment.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to read pick tickets accurately.
- Availability: Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
