Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, locate, and stock materials efficiently.
- Perform receiving duties, including unloading trucks and inspecting incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations at all times.
- Prepare and package items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and secure packaging.
- Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits as required by management.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding stock levels and logistical needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
- Valid driver's license (not always required for internal warehouse, but preferred).
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime.
