Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers.
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise and materials accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Conduct daily inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks utilizing proper lifting techniques.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and document transactions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Forklift certification (or the ability to obtain one within 30 days).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
