Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Load, unload, and stage freight onto and off of trucks in compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform accurate inventory counts, stock checks, and cycle counts daily.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, adhering to 5S principles.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines are strictly followed while operating machinery.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and shipping preparation as required.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding inventory status.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (required for consideration).
- Previous experience operating stand-up or sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility (shift is 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and holidays as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
