Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, scan, and sort incoming inventory using RF scanners
- Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) with precision
- Optimize warehouse layout to minimize travel time and maximize storage capacity
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and 5S workplace organization standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipment targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/material handling experience required
- Certification in forklift operation (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail with ability to read pick tickets and blueprints
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Valid Indiana driver's license preferred
