Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, trains, and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Verify incoming and outgoing merchandise against bills of lading.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Assist with inventory counting, sorting, and stocking of goods.
- Package goods securely for shipping and distribution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Forklift certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to read shipping labels and work orders.
