Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and trucks efficiently to maintain inventory flow.
- Manage inventory by accurately picking, packing, and labeling stock according to warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean work area to ensure safety and compliance with company protocols.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere to strict safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar) reliably.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
