Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized materials in warehouse and yard settings
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning systems and digital tracking tools
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company material handling procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading dock efficiency and on-time shipments
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Support warehouse cleanliness initiatives and proper stacking of hazardous materials
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year recent experience operating industrial forklifts in warehouse environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and ability to work independently on night shift schedule
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
