Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision to move, load, and unload materials in a high-volume warehouse setting
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including OSHA compliance and equipment inspection procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules and dock operations
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Support warehouse reorganization projects and space utilization initiatives
- Train on new technologies and equipment as part of our continuous improvement culture
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license with minimum 1 year of recent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with proven inventory management skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Basic computer literacy for warehouse management systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Preferred: Prior experience in temperature-controlled warehouse environments
