Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and stock organization to maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies while operating heavy machinery.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely order fulfillment and pallet stacking.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Complete daily safety logs and shift reports.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator with a valid license and current certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
