Responsibilities
- Safe Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist with stock counts, inventory organization, and maintaining accurate bin locations.
- Load Preparation: Properly package and label shipments to ensure they are ready for timely delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean workspace.
- Team Coordination: Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Material Handling: Move pallets and heavy items using forklifts and hand trucks as required.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage during transit and report any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: A positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than prior experience.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented to ensure safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
