Responsibilities
- Prepare and Pack Orders: Accurately pick, pack, and label merchandise to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Verify Inventory: Cross-reference order forms with inventory to ensure the correct items are selected.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and power jacks as required.
- Organization: Keep the packing area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage and ensure proper labeling and sealing.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or general labor is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and order integrity.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a consistent schedule.
- Skills: Basic math skills and ability to read and follow instructions.
