Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming inventory to verify accuracy and identify any damages prior to packaging.
- Pack merchandise securely using appropriate materials, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Label packages accurately with correct shipping tags and barcodes to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with all OSHA safety regulations.
- Operate handheld scanners and basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, conveyors) with proficiency.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping quotas and quality standards.
- Sort and organize stock in designated areas to optimize inventory flow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills required for accurate inventory counting and labeling.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
