Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor techniques.
- Inventory Management: accurately sort, organize, and place stock in designated storage areas.
- Packing & Labeling: Ensure all packages are properly labeled, sealed, and documented for shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of loading equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and packaging.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and dependability.
- Documentation: Ability to complete necessary paperwork accurately and legibly.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
