Responsibilities
- Pack products carefully to prevent damage during transit using appropriate materials (bubble wrap, boxes, pallets).
- Verify order accuracy by scanning barcodes and checking product labels against packing slips.
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts or pallet jacks (certification provided upon hiring).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times to comply with safety regulations.
- Sort and stage inventory according to shipping lanes and routes.
- Assist in inventory cycle counts and stock organization as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding order volume and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Previous warehouse or retail experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work on your feet.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced environments.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
