Responsibilities
- Pack products and materials into boxes, crates, and cartons according to shipping guidelines and customer specifications.
- Inspect items for damage, defects, or discrepancies before packing.
- Label packages accurately with proper barcodes, shipping addresses, and weight information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times to prevent accidents.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Assist in inventory management by scanning items and updating stock levels.
- Collaborate with the shipping team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and shipping costs.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
