Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and label merchandise according to customer orders and company specifications.
- Ensure all packages are securely sealed and labeled with correct shipping information.
- Verify accuracy of orders by cross-referencing picking tickets with inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the packing station.
- Operate packing equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and labeling machines safely.
- Assist in inventory control by reporting discrepancies or damaged stock immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to read labels and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
