Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, tag items, and maintain accurate stock records using handheld scanners.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping with precision and speed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and orderly to ensure efficient workflow.
- Equipment Operation: Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse machinery and report any issues to management.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and colleagues to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience is considered.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not mandatory as training is provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- License: Valid driver's license is required for warehouse driving tasks.
