Your Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our daily operations. You will ensure that our inventory is moved efficiently and safely, contributing to the seamless delivery of products to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and stock checks.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CPC or OSHA 10/30).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
