Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and pallet jacks to designated storage areas.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition and report any malfunctions.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count and verify stock levels, ensuring inventory records match physical stock.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free warehouse environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFL) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or evenings if needed.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
