Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance checks on forklift equipment before and after each shift to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Organize, stack, and stage inventory according to established safety and storage guidelines.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely processing of shipments and accurate inventory records.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to 5S workplace organization standards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Forklift License) is required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred but not mandatory if certification is current.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and recording.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
