Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues before and after each shift to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure stock accuracy.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe for all employees.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies regarding material handling.
- Assist in the preparation of shipping orders and packaging materials as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class 1, 3, or 4).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and weight verification.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
