Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate various powered industrial trucks (e.g., Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including wearing proper PPE and conducting daily pre-shift inspections.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, verify, and store incoming shipments; pick, pack, and stage orders for outbound delivery.
- Material Handling: Organize and maintain storage areas to ensure efficient workflow and prevent clutter or hazards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of inventory movements and equipment maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent training is required).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counting and order fulfillment.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
