Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and ensuring proper placement in designated storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping schedules.
- Document all movements and inventory changes accurately using warehouse management software.
- Assist with the packaging and palletizing of goods for shipment.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid forklift certification (Class A or B) and current license.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
