Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport pallets within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stock verification, cycle counts, and ensuring accurate inventory levels using RF scanners.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety protocols and housekeeping procedures.
- Load Securement: Properly secure loads for transport, ensuring cargo stability and preventing damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift certification and have a clean driving/operating record.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order picking.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or nights if required.
