Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Retrieve merchandise from shelves using handheld scanners or RF guns and accurately pack items into boxes for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Verify product counts and serial numbers to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage before packing and ensure all packaging materials are used correctly to prevent damage during transit.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep your work station, aisles, and shipping areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery as required.
- Order Fulfillment: Process orders quickly and efficiently to meet daily shipping targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical labor in a warehouse setting.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and capable of following instructions precisely.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business demands.
- Equipment: Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn warehouse management software.
