Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipping using packing materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and conducting regular stock counts.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic inspections and cleaning of warehouse equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including shipping labels and daily logs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to read labels and barcodes accurately.
- License: Valid driver's license or ability to operate company vehicles.
- Attitude: Dependable, punctual, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
