Responsibilities
- Efficient Picking: Locate and retrieve items from shelves using scanners and RF devices to fulfill customer orders accurately and quickly.
- Secure Packing: Pack items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit and damage prevention.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure all packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; no prior experience required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Basic Tech Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic computer systems.
- Work Ethic: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends.
