Job Overview:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on role perfect for individuals looking to enter the logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments from trucks using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Packing & Shipping: Package items securely, prepare shipping labels, and organize orders for delivery.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery and tools in accordance with safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet company standards before shipping.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic addition, subtraction, and reading labels.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
