Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections to maintain a OSHA-compliant workspace.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock counts to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Oversee the proper maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Resolve operational issues and address customer inquiries regarding orders in a timely manner.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
- Valid forklift certification and material handling equipment operation skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and direct a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency with basic computer software and inventory management systems.
