Job Summary
As a Part-Time Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily management of warehouse activities, ensuring that safety standards are met while maximizing productivity and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping functions to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment for all employees.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing clear instructions and feedback to improve performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
- Resolve operational issues in real-time, making quick decisions to keep workflows uninterrupted.
- Manage the accurate and timely processing of paperwork, including packing slips and shipping labels.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in warehouse management or a similar logistics role.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop team members.
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate warehouse machinery safely.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail in inventory management.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a plus.
