Responsibilities
- Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
- Manage shipping and receiving activities, verifying all incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance workflow.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification (preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct a team effectively.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods as required by the job.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
