Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, and retrieving merchandise within the facility. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring our distribution network runs smoothly during the night shift.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and ship customer orders using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damages and ensure proper documentation is completed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience (1+ years preferred but not required for the right candidates).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate barcode scanners.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and walking throughout the facility.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
