Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick and pack merchandise based on customer orders using handheld scanners and picking lists.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects or damage prior to packing to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and reporting discrepancies immediately to the shift lead.
- Workstation Maintenance: Keep packing stations organized, clean, and safe in compliance with all OSHA regulations.
- Shipping Preparation: Properly label, seal, and arrange packages for timely dispatch to shipping carriers.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate effectively with warehouse staff to maximize workflow efficiency and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, fulfillment centers, or retail stocking is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly with or without assistance.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting, verifying, and packaging items.
- Reliability: Must possess a strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible shifts.
- Education: High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners is a plus.
