Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack products according to pick tickets and customer orders, ensuring high accuracy rates.
- Inventory Management: Scan barcodes and maintain precise inventory counts during the picking and packing process.
- Packaging: Properly package items using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to ensure safe delivery.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the work area organized, clean, and safe at all times, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and handheld scanners as required.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and ensure accuracy in fast-paced environments.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on-the-job training provided.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn warehouse management software.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well within a team structure.
