Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare merchandise for shipment based on customer orders.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to prevent damage.
- Verify accuracy of picked items against packing lists and ensure proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts (certification preferred but not always required).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for reading order tickets.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as business needs dictate.
