Responsibilities
- Retrieve merchandise from storage areas and prepare orders for shipment according to picking tickets and work orders.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Inspect products for quality and ensure accurate labeling and barcoding.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) efficiently.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred but not always required).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work flexible shifts, including overtime.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
