Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI researchers to integrate quantum algorithms with machine learning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Drive innovation in quantum annealing optimization for logistics and finance applications
- Publish research in leading quantum computing journals and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance methodologies
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical quantum concepts into practical implementations
